Your voice is the voice of thousands of Americans, but it doesn’t mean that you can speak for them. You are not alone. Behind you is a large tradition, that has modeled our civilization, where a better life, a better world, is not just an ideal, but it is possible to get. What you want to do, that changes  you look for, are not yours. In every single hungry child, in every single woman dyeing without health care, there is a forgotten person, tired of knocking the doors of the American Dream.  
 
21th century starts in crisis like never before. Our environment is changing, our convictions are falling. Remember these words of Lincoln: «The dogmas of the quiet past are inadequate to the stormy present. The occasion is piled high with difficulty, and we must rise with the occasion.
